Why cards added not stored in the desired gateway as per smart routing configuration ?

The customer’s updated card is stored in the old gateway and not in the gateway configured in the smart routing


When the following gateway configurations are in enabled state :

Always retain card information in <Gateway> when a customer updates it

Retain cards in <Gateway>

If a customer makes any change to the existing payment method , the changes will be updated to the corresponding gateway which was used during the initial payment method setup.

For the new payment method additions , the details will be added to the gateway configured in the smart routing
