Prerequisites

Before proceeding with the configuration, it is necessary to meet the following prerequisites:

  • Make sure you have completed the steps required to accept PayPal payments via Adyen before configuring it in Chargebee. It includes creating your PayPal sandbox site, giving Adyen access to your sandbox site, fetching your PayPal merchant ID, adding PayPal to your Adyen customer area, and finally setting up your live business site.   • Enable PayPal in your Adyen account before configuring it in your Chargebee site.

PayPal via Adyen is a Private Beta release; please reach out to our support to enable this feature. You can integrate PayPal via Adyen in Chargebee via Chargebee Hosted Pages , Chargebee JS , Gateway JS, and APIs

      

Once enabled, go to Settings > Payment Gateways > Adyen > Enable PayPal.

Enable PayPal in Chargebee

To enable PayPal for Adyen on your Chargebee site:

PayPal via Adyen is a Private Beta release; please reach out to our support to enable this. You can integrate PayPal via Adyen in Chargebee via Chargebee Hosted Pages , Chargebee JS , Gateway JS, and APIs
  1. Once enabled, login to your Chargebee site.

  2. Go to Settings > Payment Gateways > Adyen.

  3. Enable PayPal.

  4. Click Apply in the top-right corner.

Smart Routing

On enabling PayPal via Adyen, smart routing will be enabled for the relevant currencies automatically.
