Summary
Estimates/advance invoice throws an error: “There is no recurring item to generate advance invoice” even though the plan is recurring.
Solution
This error usually comes up when a 0-value plan is being used in the subscription. Under Configure Chargebee > Billing LogiQ, if you have “Hide 0 Value line items” enabled and the plan price is 0. It does not allow you to generate an advance invoice and throws this error.
The only option here to fix this is to disable this option from under billing logIQ. Once disabled, the advance invoicing and Estimates will work as expected and will not throw any errors.
