Modified on: Thu, 9 Mar, 2023 at 10:13 PM

Scope

Checkout.com Error message:The API response status code (422) does not indicate success. A validation error of type request_invalid occurred with error codes [processing_channel_id_required]

Summary

This error can happen for a few reasons. Checkout.com has an ABC platform and a NAS platform. The platform you’re on can be found on the integration page.

If you’re on NAS then you need to follow the step below

For the NAS platform, you must enter the API Secret Key as the Bearer space Secret Key. For example, Bearer sk_sbox_pcbqzzjczm5p72kqdgfrsfrkjhg

Solution

If you have already done this then you need to confirm if you’ve selected a channel with keys, so something like what’s in the image below.

If you don’t have that, then you need to click on the update key and allow any channel or check at-least one channel and connect again from Chargebee and test.

This should resolve your issue, but if it still doesn’t please reach out to our support with screenshots of your integration so we can check further.

Also, reach out to Checkout.com just to confirm everything is set up properly from there and if there’s any additional information they can provide regarding the errors that are being thrown since the errors are coming from Checkout.com
