How to allow customers to reactivate the canceled subscription from the self-serve portal?
Summary
In Chargebee, there are certain features that are available for users to perform on their Self-Serve portal without the merchant’s intervention. In order to allow users to reactivate subscriptions, you need to enable ‘Allow customers to reactivate canceled subscriptions’ from Checkout & Self-serve portal settings.
Solution
Navigate to Settings > Configure Chargebee > Checkout & Self-Serve Portal > Portal > Allow customers to reactivate canceled subscriptions > Apply > Publish
In-term reactivations
When a subscription gets canceled due to non-payment after dunning, the reactivation of such subscriptions within its current billing term, is termed as in-term reactivation.
For in-term reactivations, check if you configured the in-term activation as per your requirements. You can either choose to Allow Reactivation or Allow Only on Payment Collection. Refer to this link for more information.
