“An error occurred while processing your request” error on Chargebee checkout by Mollie

Why are the customers getting the “An error occurred while processing your request” error on the checkout while integrated with the Mollie gateway?


Summary 


The customers may get "An error occurred while processing your request" kind of error in the checkout because of missing cardholder information. The source of this error is Mollie gateway only.


Solution


As per Mollie, both the First Name and Last Name fields for card details should be mandatory.

 

Please enable the mentioned fields by navigating to Settings >> Configure Chargebee >> Checkout & Self-Serve Portal >> Fields >> Payments.

 

 

Also, click on the Edit button right beside the Enable button and set it as Mandatory as shown in the screenshot below,
