This article covers
Can I change my existing domain name to a new domain name with Chargebee?
Description
Changing the sub-domain name is possible with Chargebee, provided the domain name is available and not used by another account.
Changing your Chargebee domain name is a critical action as it would break any existing public links.
To change your Chargebee Sub-Domain, you can write to Chargebee Support ([email protected]), with the preferred new domain name.
Example: https://OLD-DOMAIN.chargebee.com to https://NEW-DOMAIN.chargebee.com.
If your existing Chargebee site is in use (checkout is live for the public) you will need to schedule a time slot to change over the new domain for your LIVE site, to ensure all links to the checkout & portal are updated with the new sub-domain.
Note: Only the registered owner can request the domain name change.
If you are using Custom domains this is optional.
It is not possible to change the subdomain of the hosted page URL alone, you will have to change the Chargebee subdomain which will change all the associated URLs in Chargebee.
