How to remove an existing payment gateway?
It is not possible to remove an existing gateway without removing all the dependencies associated with it.
1) The existing card and subscription information.
2) Smart routing rules that use the gateway for processing new transactions.
In order to remove the existing gateway altogether, you should first migrate the existing card and subscription information into a new gateway account. To migrate the data, you could simply raise a migration request from your Chargebee site by going to Settings > Import & Export Data > ‘Raise a migration request’. Someone from our team will reach out to you and help you with the entire process.
Once you have migrated all the data into your new gateway account, and once you have removed the existing gateway from the smart routing rules, you would be able to delete the account.
