Error: 10752 Transaction cannot be processed. What’s going on?

Modified on: Mon, 28 Jan, 2019 at 2:12 PM

This error points to a problem with the issuing bank and not PayPal.

Possible causes of this error include:

  1. There was a problem with the security code or Address Verification System (AVS) code on the card.

  2. There is a problem with the buyer.

  3. The card issuer denied the transaction.

  4. The transaction was considered to be too high-risk.

  5. The business category you’ve chosen is not compatible with certain card networks like American Express, Diners Club

The customer can still see the transaction through with a different card.

Solution:
Inspect the Card Verification Value (CVV2) and AVS codes that are returned along with the 10752 error. To understand the meanings of the various CVV2 and AVS codes, please visit Paypal's AVS and CVV2 Response Codes page.

Have your customer use a different Payment Method (Card, Bank Account) with their PayPal account.
