Error: street address and postal code do not match. What's going on?

This error reflects an AVS mismatch triggered at the Fraud Detection Suite at Authorize.Net. Make sure you ask your customers to confirm that card details entered on the checkout page match those on record at the bank, they are cross-referenced to avoid illegitimate transactions.  

You can confirm that this error was generated due to an AVS configuration at 
Reports >> Transaction Detail Reports or Search >> Suspicious/Unsettled transactions on the Authorize.Net interface. Look for  Response code 2; Response Reason code 27 or Response code 2; Response reason code 44 
- both are generated for AVS declines and not for declines initiated by the issuer.
