Can I use multiple currencies with my Chargebee account?

Multi-currency pricing is available across all our plans for our supported currencies and its feature capability is based on the Chargebee plan you’re on.

With our Launch and Go Plan ($99), a single site is limited to a maximum of 3 currencies and exchange rates have to be updated manually.

However, we’d like to mention that if you want more than 3 currencies, it will be supported from the Rise plan ($299) and above. It includes complete Multi-Currency support including automatic exchange rate updates every day, along with the ability to schedule when the exchange rates should be updated. These exchange rates are used for preparing your reports in Chargebee. Here’s more on Multi-Currency.

Go to Settings > Configure Chargebee > Currencies and under Additional Currencies, click Enable Multicurrency


* A Chargebee site only supports one tax configuration. So if you currently have multiple Chargebee sites (one per currency) with different tax configurations, you will not be able to configure all those taxes in a single site.

* If you are an API user, after enabling multi-currency, update your code to pass the currency_code parameter for appropriate APIs. An error will be thrown if this parameter is not passed. More details here.
