Modified on: Mon, 28 Mar, 2022 at 8:01 PM

Scope

Invalid domain! Unauthorized endpoint, please check Setup -> Security -> Remote site setting.

Invalid domain! Unable to tunnel through proxy.

This article covers the connection steps and errors  to Salesforce org

Solution:

This error happens once we try to connect Salesforce with the Chargebee account. While entering the domain ID (site/domain name) and there is some issue with the connection the errors might pop up.

  • Chargebee Domain ID: provide the Chargebee site name in the format “xyz-test.chargebee.com”.

  • API key: Provide API key from the CB site>> API keys for the site that is to be connected.

Possible Reasons:

Option 1. Invalid domain! Unauthorized endpoint, please check Setup -> Security -> Remote site setting.

If you face this error, then you need to allow your Chargebee site in Salesforce.

Option 2: Invalid domain! Unable to tunnel through proxy or any other like error even after adding remote site settings

Fix:

Check if the Chargebee domain ID has “.chargebee.com” appended to the domain ID.
