How do I remove autofill of address fields in Checkout or portal?

Enable/disable auto-complete of address


Summary

If you don't want the address fields in the checkout/portal to be auto-populated, then you need to disable the autocomplete address toggle on the checkout & self-serve portal setting. 


Solution

Autocomplete addresses

Chargebee uses Google Autocomplete to suggest addresses as your customer starts to type in. By enabling this option, your customers can easily choose their address from the suggestion. Autocomplete addresses also work in the self-serve portal when the customer wants to modify the billing/shipping address

To disable, please navigate to the Settings > Configure Chargebee > Checkout & Self-Serve Portal > Advance Settings
