Explanation of metric
- A trend line depicting the Subscriptions Activated during the period. However, the Activation metric does not include any subscribers that might have stopped using the service in the past and reactivated in this period.
How it's measured
Activations = [(Total No. of Subscriptions activated during the period)]
Note: Only the first Activation date is considered. Reactivations are not considered.
Interpretation
- An increase in the number of Activations contributes to revenue growth. In the Lead conversion process: Sign-ups and Activations are two important steps. If the variance across Sign-ups and Activations is too high it is recommended to identify drop-off points and optimize the conversion funnel.
- Example: If 100 new Subscriptions are Activated during the period, it can be referred to as 100 Activations.
