My SSL certificate is not supported?

Chargebee currently supports certificates with root certificate from any of the Certificate Authorities (CA) listed in this article. You can cross-check your certificate installation at Qualys SSL Labs.


If your certificate is listed, yet you are receiving SSL communication errors, a common cause could be due to incomplete certificate installation.

Note: 

If your certification is not listed in the above list you can use temporarily use one of the freely available certificates.

We do add new certificates periodically.


The certificate chain is incomplete if the intermediate certificates are not installed properly. To fix this, you can get in touch with the SSL Certificate provider. To check the status of the SSL certification, use this link - https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html
