Xero app show error: The chart of account mapping for the plan/addon is not configured‌

I’m unable to sync plans and addons with the error: The chart of account mapping for the plan/addon is not configured‌

Invoices are not synced due to plans and addons not being mapped


Summary

The error "The chart of account mapping for the plan/addon is not configured" is seen when you haven't entered the accounting code which is mandatory for the Item and the subsequent invoices to sync through.

Solution

Please go to the Plan > Choose the price point and Edit > Update the Accounting code as in the below screenshot ( Same for Addons ). This code must match the actual code of the account from your Xero account. 

 

If you do not find the field, please ensure that you have enabled the fields as in the below screenshot; This can be found under Settings > Configure Chargebee > Billing LogIQ.

 

 

 

Once you update the accounting code and run the sync, the items and the invoices should sync across without any issues.
