When and how often are products synced in new Hubspot integration?

Modified on: Thu, 8 Jun, 2023 at 3:33 PM

Scope

How often will the sync happen in the new Hubspot integration?

Can I do immediate sync?

Summary

Once the integration is enabled by Chargebee, the setup flow will guide you through the process of connecting your Chargebee application to HubSpot. The initial setup will perform an initial (verification) step followed by a full synchronization step where all eligible products, prices and frequencies from Chargebee will be synchronized with HubSpot.

The integration keeps products in HubSpot up to date or pushes additional products into HubSpot via a job that runs every 15 minutes. If you need to synchronize something right away, you could use the ‘Sync Now’ button on the summary page.

Note

I. We have sunset the Hubspot legacy integration on March 3, 2023 which will not be available on the Marketplace.

II. We have migrated from
Hubspot legacy to Hubspot Quote to Cash (Q2C) integration, with the release of self-serve flows for customer and subscription sync from Chargebee to Hubspot which also have all features that was on the legacy integration.

III.  This migration will not impact the existing users and they will continue to use the integration normally as before. Reach out to us from here to know more.

Solution

Once the integration is enabled by Chargebee, the setup flow will guide you through the process of connecting your Chargebee application to HubSpot. The initial setup will perform an initial (verification) step followed by a full synchronization step where all eligible products, prices, and frequencies from Chargebee will be synchronized with HubSpot. Ensure that all the appropriate currencies (for which price points have been configured in Chargebee) are enabled in HubSpot before you proceed with the connection. The sync runs a batch job and if a single currency were left out, then the whole batch could fail. If you run into sync errors due to this, enable the appropriate currencies in HubSpot and re-run the sync from the dashboard later using the ‘Sync Now’ button. Regardless, sync failures are retried automatically once every 24 hours.

All products will be created in HubSpot’s root product folder, but you can reorganize them into other folders after synchronization. A history of what was synchronized and when will be visible on the Chargebee HubSpot integrations page:
