Summary

The Merchant of Record or the MoR is an authorized financial entity that is held liable and responsible for processing the consumer’s credit card and debit card transactions. 

This is handled by the gateway like Braintree/Stripe/Adyen etc. We request you to contact your gateway since Chargebee is only an intermediate between your web-app and your payment gateway. 

I.e. When your customers subscribe for service by entering their card information on the checkout page, this information is directed to the gateway.
