You can configure the Subscription Renewal reminder email notifications under Settings > Configure Chargebee > Email Notifications.  There are 2 email reminders available by default. However, you can add more notifications if required, using the “Add Notification” button on the top right. (this option would be available only for the Scale Plan and above).



If you’d like to send an email at the time of subscription renewal, you can enable the Invoice Receipt email notification that is generated at renewal. This would also include the invoice as an attachment. 

You can select the Send Too; to choose which group of customers need to receive this email. You can use segmentation to define customer groups. Click Here for more info.


Chargebee also has reminder notifications for Subscription Cancellation. You can find it in the “Customer Retention” section of the email notification settings page. 



You can modify the number of days before which the reminder notifications can be sent. Use the Edit option and enter the required number of days in the textbox.
