Language pack - upload error

Modified on: Fri, 19 Mar, 2021 at 6:27 PM

Language packs are downloaded and translated before uploading. There is a possibility of different types of errors that can be fixed easily.

Note: You can edit this csv file either in a text editor or in Google sheets. Remember to save the file in .csv extension only. If you have edited using Numbers on Mac then it will throw error while uploading.

Error "header length mismatch"

This error usually occurs when the application you use for compiling the .csv file morphs the values from being comma-separated to colon-separated. The system is bound to throw errors in case you're using any different separator in the files instead of a comma. Please try to alter the files you're uploading to remove this and try again. It is recommended to compile a fresh set of files by performing another download of the language pack.

Some terms are still not translated

If you are seeing a specific term like 'paid' or 'pending' not translated, then these are enums in Chargebee. To translate the enum values refer to this article.
