I want to raise the invoice on 5th of every month. The billing tenure should be from 1st of last month to that month's end.
example- For May'18, I want to raise an invoice on 5/6/18 and the billing tenure should be from 1/5/18 - 31/5/18.
How can I do this?
Thanks for reaching out to us.
You can make use of our Calendar billing feature and set the billing date as 5th of every month. This will generate a bill on 5th of every month for all the subscriptions irrespective of when they sign up. Regarding your second query for having the billing period to be 1st of a month to the month end, this is not possible the first time, as the billing period is considered based on when the customer signs up. For eg- If a customer signs up on 20th June, then the first invoice will be raised for 20th of June to 5th of July and the next invoice would be calculated from 5the of the present month to 5th of next month.
Do refer to our docs and let us know if this works for you.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for your reply. I understand your suggestion. But, what our company want is that we want to bill from 1st to last date of that month on 5th of the next month. Do let us know if you can help us with this.
I am afraid it is not possible to bill from the 1st of every month to the month end when the bill should be sent on 5th of every month. If you want to have the billing period to be from 1st of every month, then I would suggest that you have the common billing date as 1st of every month.
Hope this helps
